Fresh sage marries perfectly with the oak notes in El Ladrón Reposado.

Makes 1

2 1/2 ounces El Ladrón Reposado
3/4 ounce lemon juice
3/4 ounce honey syrup*
6 fresh sage leaves

Combine lemon juice, honey syrup and sage in a shaker tin, then give a soft muddle. Add Reposado and shake with ice. Fine strain into a collins glass filled with ice and garnish with a sprig of sage.

*Honey syrup: equal parts honey and water
